Takunda Ushe

Takunda Ushe is the co-founder and Director of Circle of Influence Projects Society (CIPS), an entrepreneurship accelerator hub for high school students in South Africa. CIPS has empowered over 230 students to initiate small-scale projects that are geared towards sustainable youth-led development.

Ushe was recognized as a 2015 Global Teen Leader by the We are Family Foundation® and his work has been featured in both local and international news outlets including South African Broadcasting Cooperation (SABC), eNews Channel Africa (ENCA) and Huffington Post. He serves as an African representative on Ashoka Youth Venture’s Global Youth Council, where he collaborates with other young changemakers from around the globe in amplifying the efforts of young people to be agents of positive transformation in their communities.

Ushe believes that today's global challenges pose a unique opportunity for young people to unearth their undiscovered leadership potential.
