Philippine Dolbeau

At the age of 15, Philippine Dolbeau, a French student, came up with the idea for New School in her economics class. The app automatically conducts roll call and detects absent students via connected keychains.

Convinced that reinventing schools around the world begins by giving the right tools to teachers, students and families, she raised funding and developed the idea into a business. One year later, New School was named the Student’s Startup of the Year 2016. Dolbeau’s other awards include Most Innovative Woman of 2017.

Thanks to her invention, Dolbeau has met the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, and was part of the 2016 G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance in China.

Philippine Dolbeau will participate on the Panel Discussion focused on Students: “How Innovative Ecosystems in Education Impact the Learning Experience” that will take place on October 16 at 4:00 pm London Time.
